Intro
LawnStarter provides customers like you with a seamless process to Pause or Cancel your services. You can Pause a service due to slower grass growth or changing seasons and have it reactivated in Spring. Similarly, if you no longer need our services and decide to discontinue your LawnStarter account, you can cancel your account through the app or web. This user-friendly approach ensures that customers have full control over managing their lawn care services.

Before You Begin

Must have an active LawnStarter account, username, and password.
Pausing your account
How to pause your account on the LawnStarter website
- Log in to your LawnStarter account.
- From the main page of your LawnStarter account, select the Support tab.
- Under the header Modify Mowing Services, select Pause.
- Select PAUSE SERVICE UNTIL SPRING.
- Select the property you wish to put on pause if you have multiple properties.
- Select PAUSE UNTIL SPRING
- A pop-up message will appear to confirm that your services have been paused until spring. Select OK to close.

How to pause your account using the LawnStarter Customer App
- In the app, under My Scheduled Services, select the three dots or the meatball button next to Lawn Mowing.
- Next, select Pause Service.
- If you do not want to change your frequency, skip your mow, or pause only part of your services, select CONTINUE at the bottom of the screen.
- Select CONTACT SUPPORT if you want to pause only some of your services.
- The next screen will tell you what date your service will be paused. You will select PAUSE SERVICE at the bottom of the screen to confirm that you would like to pause.
- Your address will appear where the white area is in the photo below.
- The app will tell you when the season starts in your area which is the general time period for which your mowing service will resume.
- Your service is paused. Select CLOSE at the bottom of the screen to exit out of the window.

Canceling your Account
How to cancel your account on the website
- Log in to your LawnStarter account.
- From the main page of your LawnStarter account, select the Support tab.
- Under the header Modify Mowing Services, select Cancel.
- Choose Click here.
- Click the CANCEL SERVICES button.
- You can CONTACT SUPPORT for further assistance if you are:
- Moving
- Wants to cancel a service and not the entire account.
- You can choose CHANGE PRO if you are not happy with your current Pro.
- You can CONTACT SUPPORT for further assistance if you are:
- A survey will open about your experience with us. Once all of the items are filled out, select YES, CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION.
- A pop-up message will appear to confirm that your services have been paused until spring. Click OK to close.

How to cancel your account using the LawnStarter Customer App
