Summary According to our Long Grass Policy, customers are charged a Long Grass Fee or LGF if the grass is over six inches. Your pro will submit a long grass report and you will be notified thru email and SMS. In the notification, there will be a link to the Long Grass Report which will break down the charges and provide photos of the long grass.
What is it
- The long grass report can be accessed through the website.
- The email and SMS notification you will receive also includes a link to the long grass report.
- Select Long Grass Report beside your lawn mowing service schedule to open the report.

- The pricing section will show the breakdown of the charge.
- This includes the regular lawn mowing charge and the long grass fee.
- Select Learn more about long grass pricing to see what determines the price.
- This will open the Long Grass Pricing screen.
- At the bottom of the Pricing screen, you can review the Long Grass Policy.
- The next steps will vary depending on the reported length of the grass.
- If the length of the grass is 12 inches and under, no further actions are needed.
- If you feel you should not be charged an LGF you can dispute a Long Grass 12 inches and under.
- There is a five-day dispute window starting from the day the pro submitted the Long Grass Report.
- If the length of the Long Grass is over 12 inches you will need to approve or reject the LGF.
- If the length of the grass is 12 inches and under, no further actions are needed.
