Summary You can discontinue your services due to the season changing or if your grass is not growing. To cancel your services, log in to your LawnStarter account thru the app or web, go to Support, and select Cancel under Modify Mowing Services. Fill out the survey on your experience with us and choose Cancel Services.
Note
- On January 9th, 2023 the price of a new, reactivated, or unpaused lawn mowing service will increase.
- The lawn mowing fee will have an average increase of 7.2% or a $3-$15 price increase.
- Most customers will see a $3 increase.
- Trust and Safety Fee - The Trust and Safety Fee will increase from $1.99 to $2.99 for new and reactivated accounts only.
- The lawn mowing fee will have an average increase of 7.2% or a $3-$15 price increase.
- This will not impact existing active recurring services unless the services are paused or canceled.
What is it
- We encourage you to pause your service if your lawn is dormant, rather than canceling the service.

If you cancel your service, please take note of the following changes if you decide to reactivate your account in the future
- We may not be able to reactivate your account with the same crew.

Reactivated accounts are subject to lawn mowing service prices and Trust and Safety fee increases.
- Make sure to discontinue your services at least 48 hours before the next service is scheduled.
- If you need further assistance, please call 1-866-822-1766, and select option 2 for customer support.
How to
- Log in to your LawnStarter account via the app or web.

From the main page of your LawnStarter account, select the Support tab.

Under the header Modify Mowing Service, select Cancel.

You'll have the option to Pause service until Spring or Cancel service entirely. Select to cancel service.
- If your reason to cancel is you are moving, not satisfied with your current crew, or only want to cancel some of your services, you may select Contact Support or Change pro to further assist you.
- If you still wish to proceed with the cancellation. Just select the Continue button.

A survey will open about your experience with us. Once all of the items are filled out, select Confirm Cancellation.

A pop-up message will appear confirming the discontinuation of your services. Select Close.
